Flash Drive Problem

Post by DragonSlayer on Sun Sep 07, 2008 4:44 pm

Hey Guys, I have a problem with my flash drives. Everytime I plug it in to the port nearest to the top it says Power surge on hub port. What is wrong?

I don't know, maybe it's the port.

I've thought that too. Are there any other suggestions?

I found the answer out; the port is probably a USB 1.0 port. Most flash drives are version 2.0. To solve the problem, you have to get a new USB card.
